Sorry for my late reply. After the coldwar, several European countries either separated from the soviet union or left the Warsaw bloc and joined EU. Due to the Ukrainian crisis, EU sanctioned on Russia. Russia definitely hates EU. I reckon Kurz's policy will conflict with EU. Besides, his party didn't win over half of the parliament seats. He should form a coalition. His ideology matches with the far right party. Far right parties in Europe are eurosceptic and pro-Russia. I don't think Austria will be like Britain, want to leave EU. But the future policy will be in favour of Russia.
