imm 科隆國際家具展

 失咗蹤成個幾禮拜其實去咗科隆睇每年一度嘅國際家具展 imm
I was gone missing for more than a week because I was in Cologne visiting an international furniture exhibition, imm.

其中一個hall有黎自東南亞嘅參展商. 參展嘅家具都好普通. 好多香港參展商都有一個好國內feel嘅公司名. 我相信呢啲國內公司喺香港註冊,然後話自己係香港公司. 好似有一檔咁,問佢間公司喺邊度黎, 佢答廣州, 跟住即刻佢嘅同事話佢哋係香港公司廣州設廠. 而呢位職員好鬼現實,開始sell嘢, 當表明唔係買家嘅時候, 佢就達一句’OK, bye bye’. 心諗嗲多兩嘴都得掛,唔俾我會介紹人黎買嘢咩!
One of the halls was for companies from South East Asia.  The furniture from them was not special.  There were many HK companies having mainland Chinese style names.  I believed these companies registered in HK and claimed to be HK companies.  For example, I asked one where was they from.  She answered from Guangzhou.  Immediately her colleague said they were HK company and had factory in Guangzhou.  This worker was so business minded.  She started selling right away.  Once I said I was not a buyer, she said 'OK, bye bye.'  I thought she should have talked with me for a while, maybe I might refer some buyers to her.

 幾恐怖嘅一張枱,好似流緊血咁.

 第三次黎今次感覺到金融海嘯嘅威力. 好多地方都租唔出, 呢啲地方就整咗黎俾人坐喇.
This was the third time I had been in this exhibition.  This time I could feel the power of the financial tsunami.  There were a lot of spaces not rented.  These spaces were turn into sitting areas.
