波蘭紅湯




最近超市有已經煮淋咗嘅 red beet.即刻諗起可以用黎整波蘭紅湯.冇食譜都買咗先.喺網上search食譜,原來red beet soup都有好多款.因為喺朋友屋企飲過,又喺波蘭人雜貨買過黎飲,所以跟呢個網嘅食譜http://easteuropeanfood.about.com



Ingredients:



  • 4 beets, washed, or 2 cups sliced canned or jarred beets

  • 4 cups meat or vegetable stock

  • 1 minced clove garlic

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice or 1 tablespoon red-wine vinegar

  • Salt and black pepper

  • Chopped fresh dill for garnish

Preparation:



  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Wrap beets in aluminum foil and roast until tender, about 30-45 minutes. When cool enough to handle, peel and slice into strips or julienne.

  2. In a medium pot, bring stock to boil, add beets, garlic, sugar, lemon juice or vinegar, and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 10 minutes.

  3. Serve hot with boiled potatoes and chopped dill for garnish, or cool quickly in an ice-water bath and refrigerate to serve cold garnished with dill and sour cream.

初初red beet嘅味好重,所以加咗多啲水,跟住多啲醋,多啲糖..最後冇跟食譜,呢樣落啲嗰樣落,想煮番腦海中嘅味道.結果令我好滿意,搵日煮俾波蘭人睇吓佢哋嘅評語.

Remark>我嗰碟係熱湯但係我都照落一pat sour cream.

    個湯好適合halloween party 飲 話是話, 我去東歐同俄羅斯的時候都見有時D湯會落sour cream, 其實係咩情況下先落?同有咩作用
