薩格勒布/ Zagreb (part 1)

3月30出發去薩格勒布. 只係50分鐘航程. 留咗兩晚. 好似我咁冇入博物館,時間就好夠, 可以話好悠.

On 30 March I left for Zagreb.  The flight was only 50 mins.  I stayed there for two nights.  I didn't visit any museum so I had more than enough time in the city.  Very relaxing.

呢度天氣同維也納一樣,得十幾度, 天陰陰, 有時仲落雨添.

The weather was similar to that in Vienna.  It was ten something degrees, cloudy and sometimes rained.

薩格勒布俾我感覺太似奧地利嘅城市,可能以前都係屬於奧匈帝國嘅關係啦. 咁啱依家好多地方都維修緊. 影相唔係太靚.

Zagreb looked like some cities in Austria to me.  Maybe it's because Zagreb belonged to the Austria-Hugarian Emperor in the past.

住嘅酒店喺舊城區,賣點The only Hotel in the Heart of Zagreb. 對出就係Ban J. Jelacic Square

I stayed in a hotel which was "the only Hotel in the Heart of Zagreb".  The Ban J. Jelacic Square was just in front of the hotel.

Ban J. Jelacic呢個像喺共產時代因為象徵自由而被移走

The statue of Ban J. Jelacic symbolises freedom and was removed from the square during communist time.

廣場有免費“火車“俾小朋友坐. 而係街角有間tourist information. 我發覺克羅地亞嘅tourist information好鍾意收埋啲嘢. 好似我喺酒店有本德文city walk嘅資料, 諗住喺tourist information攞番本英文, 點知佢哋淨係show法文版. 冇理由冇英文,於是直接問佢有冇.

There was a free "train" on the square for kids.  At the corner of the street, there was a tourist information centre.  But I have found that in Croatia people like to hide pamphlets.  Like, I got a German version of the city walk information in my hotel.  So I wanted to go to the information centre to get one in English.  However they only shown the French version.  That's impossible that they didn't have it in English so I asked for one directly.

沿住呢條路行上去就係the Cathedral of St. Stephen.

Up this street, you can reach the Cathedral of St. Stephen.

教堂前嘅Kaptol廣場

In front of the Cathedral is Kaptol Square

仲保留咗舊城牆/ Parts of the city wall are remained.

教堂內為記念天主教喺克羅地亞1300周年(641-1941)用古克羅地亞文字寫成嘅碑文.

There is an inscription in old Croatian writting to celebrate the 1300th year of Christianity in Croatia (641-1941)

附近有個Dolac街市/ Nearby is Dolac Market

另一邊係花檔. 有一個克羅地亞國家英雄Petrica Kerempuh像

One side is for flower.  There stands the status of the national hero Petrica Kerempuh.

市內嘅舊款電車但係冇搭過
